Episode 10: Elijah Confronts Tony

The Great and Powerful Genie Episode 10 continues the tense events at Maple Hotel after Christine goes there to meet Tony Roth.

Christine believes Tony deserves the credit for helping her secure the Hiller contract and meets him at the hotel to thank him. Tony accepts the praise even though he was not actually responsible for the deal.

The situation soon becomes increasingly uncomfortable. Elijah, already suspicious of Tony's intentions, becomes involved and confronts him.

The confrontation quickly escalates, with Elijah overpowering Tony and nearly choking him. Christine intervenes, but instead of understanding why Elijah reacted so strongly, she turns against her husband and slaps him.

For Elijah, Christine's reaction becomes another painful example of how little she understands or appreciates the man who has spent years protecting and supporting her.
